In the third quarter of 2025, the performance of music and podcast apps on the iOS platform in Finland showed diverse trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, highlights the top five apps in this category.

Podimo: Podcasts & audiobooks saw a steady increase in weekly revenue, culminating at about $39.6K by the end of September. Downloads fluctuated, with a peak of approximately 2.3K in late August. Active users initially dropped from about 50.9K to 36.6K mid-quarter, but recovered to reach 42K by the end of September.

Podme - Podcasts & Audiobooks experienced a rise in weekly revenue, peaking at around $16.4K in mid-August. Downloads were highest in mid-August at over 1K, while active users grew from roughly 20.8K to 23.1K over the quarter.

YouTube Music displayed consistent revenue growth, reaching a high of about $11.5K at the end of September. Downloads remained stable, with a slight increase to 793 in late August. Active users fluctuated, peaking at 24.6K in early September.

TIDAL Music: HiFi Sound had variable revenue, peaking at $5.9K at the end of September. Downloads remained steady, mostly around 300, while active users increased steadily, reaching 8.3K by quarter's end.

SoundCloud: The Music You Love showed a modest rise in revenue, peaking at $5.3K in the final week. Downloads increased gradually, reaching over 1K in late August. Active users decreased from 19.6K to 15.7K mid-quarter but rebounded to 17.5K by the end.
